Client Login: FTP Access
Clients may upload and download files using the web-based
FTP program by clicking on the "Log in" picture to
the right. However, uploads using this program
are limited to 2 megabytes each. When logging
on, the full username is "clientname@longviewassociates.com".
To upload files greater than 2MB, please follow the instructions
below for setting up a free, easy to use FTP program, CoreFTP:
Step 1: Download
the CoreFTP install program through the link below:
CoreFTP Lite
version 1.3c
or download the latest version from the CoreFTP
website:
http://www.coreftp.com
Step 2: Install and run CoreFTP
using the .exe file downloaded
Step 3: Set up your Long View
FTP Account in CoreFTP, following the screenshots below:
When CoreFTP runs for the first time, it
will bring up the Site Manager window.
Enter the Site Name as "Long View Associates
FTP" and Host / IP / URL as "ftp.longviewassociates.com".

Enter the Username and Password that
has been provided, if you have not been given a username
and password or need help, please contact finlay_anderson@longviewassociates.com or
your Long View Associates contact.
*Note: Username must include "@longviewassociates.com" to
log on correctly.
After entering this information, click on "Connect" and
the site will be stored in your Site Manager and you will
be connected to the Long View Associates FTP. To access the
Site Manager again while in CoreFTP, click on the button
with up and down arrows:

Once connected, navigate through your Local
Folder and FTP Folder as you would in Windows Explorer. Navigating
to previous folders is accomplished by clicking the folder
icon with ".." next to it.
To upload or download files, simply drag and
drop files from your Local Folder on the left side of the
screen to the FTP Folder on the right, or vice versa. When
uploading or downloading, the original file is always preserved
in the original folder and a copy is created when it is uploaded
or downloaded.
